SHARED KITCHEN-DINING ROOMS
There is a communal fitted kitchen on every floor which is shared by five to six students living on that floor.
These are fully equipped with cooker, Microwave, oven, Kettle, and
large fridge- freezer. All kitchens are fitted with individual lockable storage cupboards and each student is allocated his own cupboard for his personal items. Students are expected to provide their own kitchen utensils, plates, cups, knives, forks, etc, though they can use some left by previous students. Adjoining each kitchen is a dining room with a large table and chairs, creating a communal space, where students can enjoy their meals and drinks with their friends. Next to each dining room is a large balcony with a pleasant view and can also be used by smokers or for an outside meal on a cool summer evening.
CLEANING – LAUNDRY
Cleaning service is provided for all communal areas and corridors.
However, you are responsible for cleaning your room as this ensures your privacy too.

Laundry facilities are available onsite.
Coin operated laundry machines and dryer facilities are available in the Laundry Room. Special coins can be obtained from the reception.
SUN BATHING
Students have the opportunity to sunbathe almost all the year round Sun camp-beds are provided for this purpose both in the back garden of the building as well as in the private area on the roof top of the building.

SOCIAL LIFE
An important part of your educational experience is your social life at the university.
You will be living in a friendly student environment and this is a great way to meet new people and make good friends. You will be living among academic people of your own age, of similar interests but of different background and culture who study a wide range of courses at university.

Most of these fellow students will be undergraduates but you will find that many are doing postgraduate research work either at the university or with UNDP, ACT (Action for Cooperation and Trust) UNHCR, PRIO. Others will be trainees with the US Embassy, or the Italian or French Embassies, who are potential future ambassadors of their country.
Many of such students have been doing research on topics such as:
International Relations, Intercommunal Relations,
Community relations, Conflict, Diversity, Bicommunalism etc..
Living in such environment you will gain lifelong memorable pleasant experiences. Most probably you will never have a similar opportunity in the rest of your life.
